Jean-Paul Baudry is a contemporary French artist whose creative journey spans painting and sculpture. His artistic foundation began with painting lessons under Agnès Dumont Anis, a professional painter, from 2006 to 2008 in Dives-sur-Mer. This experience led him to pursue sculpture, and from 2008 to 2010, he studied under Philippe Olive, a sculptor and visual artist who also taught at the Beaux-Arts in Caen.
From 2010 to 2015, Baudry expanded his skills at the Caen School of Fine Arts, exploring various techniques, including painting, modeling, screen printing, graphic arts, and both wood and stone sculpture. He further honed his expertise through specialized training with renowned professionals. Under the guidance of sculptor Pepito Espin, he delved into working with marble, iron, and bronze. Additionally, he received advanced training in stone and marble sculpture through direct carving with Thémys Kouvatas, a professor at the Esam Higher School of Arts in Caen.
Baudry's multidisciplinary approach and dedication to mastering diverse materials and methods reflect his deep commitment to the art of sculpture, continually pushing the boundaries of his creative expression.
