Jean Michel Garino is a contemporary French sculptor. Main subject of his work is the world of animals, their beauty and symbolism. The blocks are carved in a realistic way and the forms are refined to maintain the elegance of the form, the softness of the touch, and the natural luminosity of the marble. Some pieces are also sculpted in a raw form, showing the natural colors and crystals of the stone while keeping the stigmata of the cut.
