Je ne suis pas un "artiste".
Je suis un ingénieur.
J'ai participé à la construction ou conception de nombreux ponts de toutes tailles.
Et quelques ouvrages autres : ligne de tramway, ligne de métro.
J'aime donc bâtir.
D'où bien sûr une formation au dessin, à la volumétrie, un apprentissage de l'observation et de l'analyse des sujets.
J'aime l'image , sous toutes ses formes, fixe ou mouvante.
La réalisation de photographie a longtemps constitué mon expression principale.
Jusqu'au plongeon dans la peinture après quelques chocs : Paul Delvaux d'abord, Hockney ou Edward Hopper entre autres.
Toutes mes images se retournent délibérément sur les 4 tranches des toiles pour être abordées de toute part . La bordure n'est plus une limite. L'encadrement ne viendra pas les enfermer. Elles peuvent ainsi être accrochées directement.
