"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Jean-Luc Vanwaarbeek, painter and photographer, was introduced to photography at the age of 12, when he received his very first film camera as a gift. From that moment on, photography remained by his side, a constant companion, although never becoming his main activity. From family photos and corporate shots to product and real estate shots, he has always found genuine joy in the desire to immortalize individuals or magnify objects.
In the autumn of his life, Jean-Luc felt the imperative need to free his imagination, and it was through photography that he chose to do so. He wishes to express himself without constraints or detours, letting his desires and his feelings guide him. The camera becomes for him an indispensable tool to materialize the images which play such a preponderant role in our lives. His images must be beautiful and/or convey a message, because don't we say that a drawing is better than a long speech? For him, this design will be embodied by an image.
His artistic loves are multiple: women, the quest for "beauty" and the use of black and white. Women have always been present throughout his life. From childhood, he was surrounded by powerful and benevolent women, and this influence accompanied him in his personal and artistic growth. He thus wishes to honor and thank the fairer sex who listened to him, reassured, encouraged and motivated.
The concept of the "beautiful", whether shaped by man or springing from nature itself, has always aroused his admiration. He aspires to live up to this beauty with his images, to capture and share these moments of wonder.
His preference for black and white never waned. It is for him the pinnacle of artistic expression, a color that gives a very specific style to an image. Black and white photographs abound in his work, lending a certain cachet to each work.
Through his art, Jean-Luc Vanwaarbeek hopes that his emotions and feelings are expressed eloquently. He aspires to touch the hearts of those who take the time to admire his images, while sharing with them his vision of the world and his appreciation for the beauty that emanates from each captured moment.
