I have always drawn and have devoted myself to painting for about fifteen years.

My influences are multiple, but we can currently note a preference for "colorist" painters, painters who "paint the painting".

"Working in oil" pushes me / leads me "naturally" -Jenny Saville- to practice a painting of earth, blood and water...

I feel an urgency to paint, while savoring every last drop of pleasure (tear) felt while working on each of my paintings.

I go to meet each of my paintings, focusing on what it requires as it is created, while respecting the invariants specific to painting.

Finally, I try to become one with the pictorial material, the act of painting being for me inseparable from an approach to martial arts (external then internal) that I have practiced for many years.

I draw valuable information from art history books of which I am a great reader. I am also curious and open to the work of artists that I can meet, either during exhibitions, museum visits or other events.

All this information marks my path and encourages me to continue in moments of doubt.

Living in Haute-Savoie for about forty years, I soak up its colors and vibrations. I stock up on colors with all the elements that surround me. You have to be in almost permanent immersion, open to all forms of life.

I claim my space of freedom in the face of social facts, even if part of my work questions the relationship between man and nature and the world around him and would like my approach, which is intended to be heuristic and reversible, to serve as an interface between the personal universes of each person - chromatic, imaginary, cognitive.
