Je travaille principalement sur le thème du paysage.
Parfois l'invisible y apparaît, espérant transcender ce qui est figuré et exprimer autre chose que la seule représentation...
Les paysages méditerranéens de l'île de Porquerolles qui m'a vu naître et grandir ainsi que mes ancêtres avant moi, sont mes favoris. Cette beauté naturelle et luxuriante, discrètement habitée par les humains, m'a très tôt donné envie d'intérioriser puis de restituer à ma manière la beauté terrestre. C'est une partie intime de moi que j'illustre ainsi. Peut-être est-elle la plus remarquable et la plus universelle.
Car on a tous besoin de nature pour se rappeler qu'on est vivant sur terre.
Un imaginaire, une récurrence du thème, la permanence et l'impermanence.

La série "énergie-matière noire" se caractérise par des fonds noirs mats (gesso acrylique) sur lesquels le dessin est apporté en blanc (encre).
Le fond noir qui semble tout avaler ou au contraire qui semble restituer, laisse émerger des profondeurs par bribes incomplètes ou par sélection des parties du dessin blanc.
Ce concept métaphorique tente de mettre en abîme notre réalité et tente d'évoquer l'invisible qui rempli tout les "vides" de l'univers et qui relie tout.

Je me concentre aussi sur l'huile et la couleur. Ma recherche est d'exprimer le dialogue des strates entre elles.
Dans cette optique, je préfère enlever qu'ajouter, révéler pour découvrir à nouveau.
Ma technique est simple : travail à la brosse sur toile et parfois en complément, usage du couteau.

La série des diptyques en symétrie axiale isolant d'un côté et de l'autre des éléments du paysage pour mieux les savourer est aussi un exercice thérapeutique.
Il sollicite en effet utilement les deux hémisphères du cerveau: Se laisser emporter par ces compositions, s'y promener, c'est œuvrer pour sa propre ouverture, sa reliance.

D'une manière générale, le principe des séries et de la répétition qui déclinent un même principe, parfois un même cadrage, est récurrent dans ma production.
