Joel Bostaetter is a contemporary French sculptor. He is actively exploring undiscovered forms and functions, employing a diverse range of materials. While he acknowledges a fondness for metal compressions, achieved through the remarkable force of a 150-ton press, his work unveils a fresh perspective on a material often overlooked or relegated to utilitarian purposes.
Several of his furniture pieces have garnered attention through prestigious showcases like Star Academy, Loft Story, and Must Celebrite, where they were showcased alongside renowned design brands like Tolix, Vitra, Cassina, Fermob, among others. However, his current artistic preference lies in sculpture.
