studied art in school & became captivated by Matisse, Chagall, Kandinsky, Miro, Picasso & Van Gogh.
Present day influences include: Paul Harmon, & Wolf Kahn.
Jay's style could only be described as...

born in Nashville,TN., Jay now resides in Springfield,TN , with wife Donna,
& when not painting & scouting the countryside for that next "great shot" ...he works as an audio engineer for the NewsChannel 5 Network.
