Jason Zahra

Jason is a painter and illustrator of various styles and different media for different ends, who is self-taught, to a certain point. 

 Principally a surrealistic and abstract artist, he has a fondness for satire and caricature, with a hint of humour fantasy and the whimsical. Nevertheless, there is a realistic and a sober aspect to some of his work too. 

His different genres of works are ongoing series which are added to from time to time, whether it is his Aviary, Abstract, Allegoric or any other style he employs.

His art can seem simple, purposeful, or intricate to portray humour, leisure, evocation, contemplation, questionable emotion and even be therapeutic.

He finds inspiration in everything and anything seen, heard or felt, however his expression can be direct or ambiguous. What is prevalent throughout his work though is light, movement and flow, leaning towards enlightenment.
