As an engineer by trade, I discovered my creative spirit early, nurtured by a family steeped in the arts. My grandmother—a fine art teacher—introduced me to the fundamentals of drawing and painting, while my mother’s background in pottery and my father’s studies in film exposed me to diverse forms of expression. My grandfather’s passion for photography taught me to notice subtle shifts in light and composition. These influences have fostered a lifelong love for portrait painting and scenes drawn from nature. I find joy in selecting subjects that resonate deeply with me rather than following trends, trusting that authenticity will connect with others. Balancing technical problem-solving in my engineering career with evening and weekend painting sessions, I continually explore the interplay of form, color, and emotion. This blend of analytical rigor and creative curiosity drives me to grow as an artist and to share works born from both precision and passion.
