Janel is a painter from Anacortes, Washington. She is currently represented by Bridgeman Images with offices in London, Paris, New York, Berlin and Bologna and Image Conscious in San Francisco. She received her education from Skagit Valley College, Washington State University as well as completing an internship at Dorling Kindersley Publishing in New York. She is currently working on a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from Cornell University. She is making art her lifelong pursuit and continually studies composition, color theory and art history.

They have offices in London, Paris, New York, Berlin and Bologna, and I have been working with their London office! They have 40,000 clients including Sotheby's, Christie's, BBC, Netflix, Random House, BMW, Gucci, Conde Nast, The Economist, The Guardian, Reuter's and many of the world's largest museums and galleries! They manage the estates of Grandma Moses and Lucian Freud and some of The Young British Artists. Their archives have four million art, photography and footage from ancient times all the way to contemporary artists. My painting, Man Walking his Dog in Indigo, has been reproduced and hangs in the (78) one and two-bedroom apartment suites, terrace suites, and penthouse suites of the Shelburne Hotel and Suites by Affina, in Manhattan, New York City. The rooms have views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and are within walking-distance to Grand Central Station, Times Square, and many other of the most visited attractions in the city.
