Janel is a painter from Anacortes, Washington. She is currently represented by Bridgeman Images with offices in London, Paris, New York, Berlin and Bologna and Image Conscious in San Francisco. She received her education from Skagit Valley College, Washington State University as well as completing an internship at Dorling Kindersley Publishing in New York. She is currently working on a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from Cornell University. She is making art her lifelong pursuit and continually studies composition, color theory and art history.
