Jacques Tararan is a visual designer and creative director with over thirty years of experience in institutional communication and editorial design. Painting has always accompanied his life as a parallel and necessary practice, gradually maturing into a defined artistic voice rooted in material abstraction for the past three decades.

His work explores the tension between gesture and structure, surface and depth, building layered pictorial spaces where matter becomes narrative and color acts as a vehicle for introspection. Raw supports, earthy pigments, and essential marks define a personal language grounded in silence and memory.

Alongside painting, Tararan has always cultivated a passion for music — he has played the guitar since the age of 14, finding in sound a parallel path of expressive research.

He lives and works at the intersection of art, communication, and music, weaving together visual sensitivity, design thinking, and emotional depth in a creative journey that is both coherent and authentic.
