Jacques Sterenberg is a contemporary artist based in Israel, whose work has earned international recognition and several prestigious art awards. Born in Lima, Peru, he moved to Chile at an early age, where he grew up and pursued his art education. Sterenberg studied at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Chile, immersing himself in the Chilean Artistic Movement of the 1980s. In the 1990s, Sterenberg moved to Israel after receiving a Scholarship for Artists of Excellence. His work is known for its bold use of color, often incorporating unnatural and vibrant hues that create striking chromatic contrasts.
