Il est né en Normandie en 1946 dans le Vexin. A l’adolescence l’art devient un dérivatif. Au pensionnat les moines lui font découvrir la peinture et la musique. Il choisit le métier de dessinateur industriel qu’il pratique quelques années, puis reprend ses études pour devenir ingénieur.
L’heure de la retraite approche, il suit les cours de l'école des Beaux Arts de Paris, de Rouen et de Caen.
Il est aussi l’eleve de Béatrice SAALBURG et de Catherine WATTERS en peinture botanique.
Pour se faire connaître il participe à plusieurs expositions régionales.
Il remporte le 1er prix du public dans les Yvelines.
Avec précision il travaille les textures, au crayon graphite, à la mine de plomb, au pastel, à l’aquarelle....
Il réalise sur commande tous vos projets : portraits de famille, portraits de vos animaux de compagnie, propriétés, natures mortes, etc....
