My name is Jacopo and I was born in Genoa. I define myself as a self-taught artist and designer in many respects.

Over the years after attending art school, I have undertaken various artisan experiences including painting, carpentry, restoration, cabinet-making, classical violin making up to ranging from the composition of music on the piano, 3D design, masonry and cooking. Also through my artistic research, I am increasingly finding the style that best represents me both in the artistic field and in that of furniture design.

In the pictorial field, my style puts into practice elements such as geometry, rigor, minimalism, kineticism, optical illusion, 60s/70s pop art in which all these elements have in common the hard edge style (clear boundaries) in which there are no real shades of colors , but let the eye execute them and at the same time give prominence to each of the pure colors.

I often find inspiration from artists with these peculiarities by partially reproducing their works and creating my own personal reinterpretations.

Even as regards the design of the furnishings, the style remains the same, always seeking geometry, optical illusion and simplicity precisely to highlight this time on something three-dimensional the fullness and primordial nature of the material it is made of, especially a material familiar to me such as wood which I consider a raw and elegant essence at the same time.
