Née a Lublin en Pologne, après son bac art option sculpture sur bois arrive en France en 1993 pour poursuivre ses études au Beaux Arts de Montpellier ou il obtiens son diplôme en 1999.
Son univers pictural contrairement aux tendances d’art moderne vers les simplifications, puise des sources personnelles (intimes) et profondes. Les inspirations de Kafka, Schulz et celles de l’affiche d’art socréaliste, croisées
avec le bagage d’un apprentissage très académique, rencontre à son arrivé en
France l’art contemporain et la bande dessiné sous tous ces formes.
De Bacon il adopte l’usage d’un fond dont traitement en réserve laisse apparaître
la toile écrue.
L’intensité expressive des figures (comme celles de Dubuffet ou même celles de
Ming) transposées à son propre univers lui permet de rendre plus explicite un
message formulé jusque’là dans les thermes de la rhétorique abstraite.
Il les met en scène comme au théâtre ou plutôt comme Jan Saudek ses models
devant son objectif.
Son travail qui joue entre la confession et la provocation, déshabillée des
justifications, insidieux et dérangeant, devient une dureté au fond du regard.
