It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Autodidacte passionné d'art, j'expose régulièrement depuis 1994, notamment dans le Var, la Creuse et la Bourgogne où j'ai séjourné.
Mon écriture picturale s'affirme de plus en plus vers l'abstraction car mes sources d'inspiration entraînent mon émotivité à fleur de peau.
L'outil choisi, brosse, couteau, pinceau et autres, guide ma gestuelle vers un empâtement de couleurs sorties du tube ou accompagné de nuances de collages subtils.
Au-delà des mots, mes peintures sont comme des poèmes, elles caressent l'esprit autant que les yeux.
J'ai commencé à peindre très jeune, mais je n'ai fait ma première exposition à Cuers dans le Var, qu'en 1994.
Depuis j'ai fait de nombreuses expositions dans différents lieux en France, en Creuse puis en Bourgogne.
En Creuse, je me rapproche de l'école impressionniste de Crozant. Une exposition à La Souterraine a transformé ma vie. En effet une ingénieure paysagiste, en voyant une de mes toiles, m'a dit : « mais c'est magnifique, vous avez transformé en scène ce coin que je connais très bien, vous devriez être un vrai paysagiste. » Du coup j'ai décidé de devenir concepteur de paysage, ce que je fis et deviens à mes 47 ans.
Ma conception de la peinture en fût transformé, j'ai pris de la hauteur et j'ai envie de créer des tableaux abstraits et plus expressionnistes qui correspondent à ce que je fais actuellement.
Mes techniques utilisent le dripping, le pulling et le scraping. Elles correspondent en effet à mon ressentiment.
J'avais même monté une galerie d'art où j'exposais des artistes peintres et sculpteurs que j'avais choisis de 2005 à 2006 à Beaune en côte d'Or.
A présent installé dans le Cantal, j'ai mon atelier ouvert au public à Moussage.
Je fais des expositions tout autour de mon atelier dans différents endroits mis à ma disposition. Soit dans des expositions seul, soit dans des expositions collectives, comme à Boisset le 10 juin 2022.
J'ai programmé des expositions en 2023.
