Ivan Markovic is a contemporary Serbian sculptor. He graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade in 2010, but his exposure to sculpture began at an early age, as his father was also a sculptor. He perceives sculpture as having a profound moral essence, where creation becomes an expression of freedom. These shapes are born through a deep passion for his craft, emerging during the formative stages of consciousness. However, the true challenge lies in entrusting these creations to reality, which proves to be the most difficult aspect of the artistic process.
