Ivan de Nîmes X *Mannequin Peace* (2020) Design by Ivan De Nîmes

"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Mannequin enfant de 1,20m
We'd like to understand, but Ivan isn't very talkative.
"You shouldn't believe it," he says at every turn, with a self-defensive laugh and clenched fists. We can still sense nail polish on calluses: all these colors are supposed to be a balm, overcoats to make it look like it's real, but underneath it's all black.
Is that Ivan? No answer. You shouldn't believe it. It's plastic and destructive. It's signed and bloody. It's a mix of Jesus illuminating the world, a puking Führer, women with wide-open lips, and dwarves on pedestals.
It's omniphallic and orgiastic, a bit like an orgy. Ivan has things to say, but he's not talkative.
So that's it? "You shouldn't believe it," Ivan suggests simply. You just need to open your eyes and take it in the face because, in the name of the powers granted to him, Ivan is on a rampage, and you can take it or leave it. It's raw and without pills.
And if it hurts, it's good for him.
You don't have to look for the flaw with Ivan for very long: you're right in the middle of it and you're falling apart. Authentic lead, Mickey Mouse and more dwarves, we're tossed between war and entertainment. The kiss that kills.
"Don't believe it," but above all, don't be afraid. There's a lot going on in his head, his head is bruising, you tell yourself he's right to give some to others, it would explode in there, it's a blast. Silkscreen printing and silkscreening aren't made for your living room!
Although, don't be fooled: Ivan is all in black, but he has colors all over his hands.
