Iuliana Barbu is a Canadian mixed media artist, living and working in Ontario, Canada.
She was born and grew up in Romania, but she immigrated to Canada, where she established her headquarter.
Iuliana holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Fine Art, Bucharest, Romania (class of Professor Dr. George Moscal) and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Iuliana's artwork consists of acrylic and oil painting. The theme of her works varies from landscapes, portraits, to abstract.
From 2020, she decided to challenge herself by painting in the pointillism technique and fell in love with it.
Iuliana participated in several group shows and projects including: UNARTE-Bucharest-Romania; Danubius Museum Calarasi-Romania; Franz Binder Museum-Sibiu-Romania; McLaughlin Gallery-Oshawa-Ontario; Mail Art-Egypt; FCA Gallery-Vancouver-Canada; Limner Gallery-Hudson-NY, GAS Gallery-Toronto
