Qual è l'origine della tecnica Aerografo

Cos'è la pittura ad aerografo? Inventata nel 1893, questa è una tecnica per applicare la pittura su tela utilizzando un piccolo strumento simile a una penna attraverso un sistema spray/spruzzo. L'aerografo consente di miscelare aria e pittura utilizzando un piccolo strumento composto da compressore, ugelli e grilletti per una resa artistica sorprendente. La pittura ad aerografo eseguita utilizzando una pistola a vernice in miniatura che soffia il medium con aria compressa sul supporto ha la particolarità di non lasciare tracce di pennelli sulle tele degli artisti con una resa di applicazione dei colori perfettamente lisci. Peter Palombi, Charles E. White III, David Willardson e Peter Lloyd sono tra i grandi pittori del XX secolo che hanno reso popolare la pittura ad aerografo nelle loro tele.
