Pendant des années j'ai sculpté le bois puis la terre. Simultanément, je prenais des cours de dessin et peinture à l'Atelier du Thabor, ces différentes formes d'expression m'intéressant et s'avérant complémentaires.
Je suis dans une démarche de recherche : explorer d'autres matériaux et façons de faire. Partir de l'observation pour restituer au plus juste ou interpréter, mais aussi partir sans savoir où l'on va. Cheminer, chercher sans même savoir ce que l'on cherche . Etre surpris et se surprendre.
Sculpter, dessiner peindre pour exprimer ce qui me fascine : le vivant, l'humain entre force et fragilité, équilibre et déséquilibre, énergie et épuisement, assurance et doute, sérénité et tourments, reconnaissance et étrangeté.
