Many people dream of freedom. No, it's better to say this - about Freedom, with a capital letter, often not knowing exactly what Freedom is and where to find it. Dreams about it are sewn into the minds of all people, and this, of course, is reflected in the most mysterious sphere of human activity - art. There is no need to list examples, these subconscious signs are read automatically and naturally, and those works of art in which the idea of Freedom is embedded have been immensely popular for centuries. The main attention is drawn to the center of the composition - the waterfall, because it is he who is the engine of the idea of freedom in the picture. The indomitable water element, not subject to either man or nature, lives in its own rhythm, violent, rumbling and beautiful. Nothing can hold her back, even time is powerless. Discreet shades are undoubtedly the dignity of the picture, allowing you to concentrate directly on the meaning and emotions.

My name is Irina Ges. I was born in Riga, Latvia, on March 15th 1976. Currently living and working in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Life is my inspiration, because deep meaning is everywhere and it is magical. Miracles are around us. I am confident that everyone can make a wonderful life.
Creating art is like an exercise for the soul. Philosophical approach which allows and encourages full freedom of expression. I combine painting and sculpture which is exhilarating. I love playing with texture, color, lines - allowing the work to create itself through me, whatever the medium. Sometimes there is a plan, more in the form of an intention to express from a certain space or with a certain goal and then there is often a resulting series of paintings or drawings. The process is most often deeply meditative. I hope you are transported by my art to places you didn't expect to go and that you experience some form of resonation, self-recognition as I believe the deepest, truest me is the same as the deepest, truest you.
