(From descriptions of the living experience of the base phenomena that intertwine the absurd without leaving the reasoning of the absurd itself, and, its representation by means of the unique power integrated in the camera).

The absurd: The incessant tension of the confrontation between humanity's deep-seated desperate longing for intrinsic, inherent, transcendental, absolute… meanings, and the straigh indifference of the universe to provide any, or, the internal and external limitations to obtain them; the impossibility of such meanings.

The reasoning of the absurd: The acceptance of the impossibility of such meanings and the preservation of this tension...

The power of the camera: Like the senses (in this case sight), the camera is capable of revealing in an immediate, objective and detailed way the reality that surrounds us. Seeing a photograph is like seeing with our own eyes what is or was, what is real, what is irrefutable. A photograph’s image can stand on its own as real without the need to be compared to other representations of reality. We trust a photo as we trust our own eyes (this if and only if the immediacy of the camera is maintained and it manages to preserve with maximum fidelity what is observed at the moment of capture).

The phenomenon: That which is manifested.

                                                              PHENOMENA OF THE ABSURD

Descriptions from the living experience of the base phenomena of the absurd without ever leaving an absurdist reasoning. Images from the raw view of a human experience.

(No photo was staged, not in the mind, not in the world, nothing was added later. Everything you will see has been found directly by the mind and the eyes or has found the mind and the eyes, spontaneously)

FIRST PHENOMENON: A fragment of the world.

One that goes all directions without stopping or rest, one that contains all the words without having any name, a piece where everything is at all times. The confirmation of the here and now, of the becoming and the upcoming... That which is shared… The mute.

SECOND PHENOMENON: The mind in itself, by itself.

Unplanned detachment or involuntary appearance; in perpetual unfolding, in unlimited succession of itself, with its own inertia, direction, and steering wheel. Always changing, always in transitory states... The property... The one who asks.

                                                  THIRD PHENOMENON: The perpetual tension.

Perpetuated when the habitual becomes strange and apparent… The tensión from the impossibility of the static in the flow of time, from the irreconcilable between continuous separation and final unification. The tension between the knowable and the unknowable... The reminder… The question.
