This is a one-of-a-kind original work, hand-painted by the artist. It is not a reproduction and no airbrush was used to paint the picture. The painting is painted in oil on canvas in the author's technique.
The painting “Metamorphosis” is written by a young and independent artist who found himself in art and became one of the first representatives of surrealism in Ukrainian painting.
The artist was born in Kiev in 1957, by profession he is an artist-decorator. The creative way of Igor Taverovsky began in 1979, as an artist-decorator in the theater. But soon the artist begins to create one after another works in painting with the author's style and plot. And since 1989, Igor Taverovsky fully dedicates his life to the author's style - “metaphysical romanticism”.
Igor Taverovsky is an innovative artist by vocation, an eternal prisoner of the unquenchable striving for perfection. Creative flight, abstraction, mysterious worlds, looking-glass imagination - this is how one can characterize the subjects of his paintings.
The creative heritage of the artist can be divided into two cycles - “Artificial World” and late - “Metaphysical Tales”. The presented picture belongs to the second creative cycle of the artist.
Taverovsky has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg. Igor Taverovsky's paintings are kept in private collections in Ukraine, USA, Canada and many European countries.
