Why do artists even do preliminary sketches?
And why do they need them and in what quality can they be exhibited or sold?
Very funny questions, but I will try to answer them seriously.
A sketch is your thought clothed in some pictorial form. And if you think that a sketch can be an independent artwork, you are right! Often the sketch is superior to the main work. Even more often sketch does not grow into something more voluminous, but remains at the level of sketch.
The theme doesn't require development or continuation. The message is already there.
In this work, I think something similar has happened.

Igor Andrianov, known as Shulman, is a contemporary Russian painter based in Prague. He is the most acclaimed living figurative artist from Eastern Europe. Igor Andrianov Shulman was born in 1959, in Russia, where he graduated from the Art College named after A.G.Venezianov. His works are part of private collections in more than 50 countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, China, Brazil.
