Biography
I was born in 1959 in Kyiv, Ukrain. My father was an artist. So my childhood was spent in the environment of artists, canvases, paintings and paints. So my future was predetermined.
Systematically I began to stady at Kyiv Secondary art School for children. In 198 I passed the exams and was accepted to the Kyiv State Institute of Art (now the Academy). Even at school I was Fascinated by the urban landscape. The Theme of the city still occupies a significant place in my work. Since 1984 I began working in cinema as a production designer. Took part in more than 50 projects. I especially loved historical hemes, which made it possible to create different eras, completely immersing myself in them. Painting has always occupied and occupies a large place in my life. It gives me a sense of inner freedom. Ido not often work to order and therefore I can work as I want, changing styles and experimenting for myself. City and sea landscapes, still lifes are my favorite themes.
Now I have started to spend more time outside the city and the theme of nature and floral still lifes has appeared in my work
