It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. This digital art is composed from pictures of colored squares of felt. 88 x 88 pixels each. They come very close to what it would look like, when the image is made with real felt.

Related themes
I've been doing and experimenting with pixel art and different media (wood, felt balls, felt squares) for about ten years or more.
I am mainly inspired by old computer games, especially the 32 colored Amiga versions, and their pixelart. This includes games from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons goldbox series like "Champions of Krynn", where my red dragon, made from squares of felt, comes from, or the "Monkey Island" series as well as other Forgotten Realms themed games like "Eye of the Beholder".
Those type of games are capable of creating an image with rather few pixels and often note more than 32 colors or less, which makes them the perfect match for my kind of art.
