This is my second version of the same scene. You can find another version in the townscapes folder. I made the foreground a little bit more exciting than it is in real life by adding some flowers which I painted in a suggestive manner so that the focus stays on the bridge and distant buildings.

I aim to bring forth feelings of happiness and positive energy with my colourful watercolour paintings inspired by nature. I paint what I see and see the natural world around me as an extension of my inner self. As a visually impaired artist, caused by a condition called blepharospasm, my latest paintings focus more on colour harmonies and overall feel of the subject rather than details. After two years of hopelessness I managed to get back into painting and I found great comfort in doing so. Although I had many years of art education both in my native Hungary and here in the UK, I am a self-taught watercolorist.
