Homayoon H
Homayoun Hayati was born in Zahedan, Iran.
Firstly, he got interested in music, but for some reasons could not continue it. And then , when he was working as a topographer in villages of Sistan and Baloochestan, he got inspired by the culture and nature of those areas. This was the time he started writing some poems and drawing some portraits. At the end of this job, he decided to move to Tehran to study music and improve his skills in Table tennis.
Without any decision to pursue art as a career, he was accepted in Painting Study in Soore university. In the first year of his studies in painting, gradually he understood that painting can be an appropriate alternative for his interests in music and sport.
Gradually, with the guidance of professors Habib Rezaei and Yaghoub, the subject of drawing and painting, and the study of colors and forms of nature became more serious for him.
This is the result of studies, continuous presence in nature and the formation of a collection of nature paintings that continues to this day.
It was during these years that the paintings, which fluctuated between abstract and figurative spaces at the same time, became a visual issue for him, and he followed the theme of collage to fabric to pursue and expand that theme.
These experiences themselves became a collection of collages and also coincided with his acquaintance with Professor Dariush Hosseini, and his encouragement to pursue these works as seriously as possible, a path that is still going on.

Once upon a time, the visual identity of this land which has been under excommunication and sanctions, led its way to a decorative atmosphere. In my opinion, the visual identity of this land has survived this catastrophe through motifs of tile, carpet and fabric.
The type of approach and material I have selected in my presented works represents the glimpse I had into the puppet show and theater performances on one hand, and mystical and fictional atmosphere of Iranian paintings and literature on the other hand. In these paintings, I have tried to follow a kind of reverse trend with what has happened throughout history. My effort was to create a path from the abstract relationship between fabric paintings and their colors and congruity to a new visual atmosphere. And to reveal personage and fiction in the edge of objectivity and abstraction. And in fact, the story and narrative were often revealed to me in the final stages of the work. Such as a theater actor who slowly and coquettishly walks from the heart of darkness to the audience to gradually show his face to us.

merci pour avoir ajouté une de mes oeuvres à votre collection -cordialement
Thank you for adding one of my works to your collection - Kind regards
Thank you for adding my collage to your collection and for wanting to follow my future work. I am very flattered. We are both influenced by the same artists - interesting. Bonne continuation avec vos oeuvres et vos collages. Best regards, Helen
Thank you for your kind words. I'm truly delighted to have your collage in my collection—it’s a beautiful piecet. It's wonderful to hear we are inspired by the same artists—it creates a lovely sense of connection.
I’m also a collage artist, and much of my work is shaped by motifs from tiles, carpets, and fabrics, infused with an Iranian essence. I would be very happy if you had a moment to take a look at my collages and share your thoughts—your feedback would mean a lot.
Wishing you continued inspiration in your artistic journey.
Bonjour très belles créations bravo à l'artiste
