"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Il y a 20 ans environ la peinture à l’huile est venue à moi. Autodidacte,
mes explorations artistiques se sont tout de suite tournées vers les Portraits et avec le temps, un peu plus largement vers le Vivant (ex : Animaux, Corps...). Tout au long de cette aventure, j’ai découvert une manière de rendre
anonyme mes personnages, soit dans la déformation (ex : flous, eau...) ou la fragmentation. Pour cette dernière, dans des éléments arrachés et assemblés, associés, reliés, on trouve la multiplicité des genres, les différences humaines, et tous ces défauts qui n’en sont pas : tout ce qui fait de nous l’unique, destruction avant reconstruction. Entre réalisme et surréalisme, on se questionne, l’œil est trompé. Un univers de personnages fictifs et futuristes créés, inspirés sûrement d’une formation ou déformation de graphiste avec une option BD, entreprise il y a une quinzaine d’années.
Des essais sur différents supports (textiles, bois...) et différentes matières me conduisent à changer ma manière de peindre, me contraindre pour avancer.
Au détour d’une journée verte en médiathèque, je me suis mise à chercher d’autres supports et matières plus écolos, revenir à l’essentiel.
Le carton, les pages de livres donnant du sens au lieu d’expo et une rencontre à Orchies avec la Chicorée.
Évocatrice de Nostalgie : « Chicorée... Odeur qui imprégnait la maison quand le matin dans la cuisine mes parents faisaient le café. »
La couleur brunie comme dans ces vieilles images photographiques sépias m’inspire aujourd’hui et me donne l’envie de vous emmener à la découverte d’histoires de personnages connus ou pas, un hommage pour ne pas oublier, ne pas les oublier, ne pas s’oublier...
