I believe artists, whether the medium is visual or auditory, are story tellers. With my paintings I use light, and color to try to tell about the things that make me smile, or shake my head, or

Herman Weinberg was born in Phladelphia, Pa. and now lives in Tampa Florida. After retiring from a 42 year career as a Physical Education teacher and university professor, Dr. Weinberg decided to study art at the age of seventy-five. He took some classes and then was adopted by a small group of professional artists who mentored him. He started with graphite drawings, and then began working in color using pastels . He began to enter competitions and began to receive recognition. He has been accepted in local, national, juried exhibits, and has received awards ranging from best in show to special recognition. He hopes to become a Grandpa Moses" both as recognition for his art and for his ability to continue it into an advanced age.
