Demolished house... Completed stage. The end of the story of someone's lives. These stories had their beginning and reached the end. Some are planned and natural, some are unexpected, as a result of natural disasters or war. On the site of the demolished building, graffiti was created, depicting the Mother of God with the newborn Jesus. Christ began his earthly life in order to end it tragically - in the name of eternal life for all mankind, that is, the victory of piety over sin, Good over Evil.
Only two colors are used in the graffiti - blue and yellow. These are the colors of the national flag of Ukraine, which recently, thanks to its heroic resistance to Russian aggression, personifies Good fighting Evil. Colors also carry the strengthening of the union of opposites, as parts of one whole: thus, blue has long symbolized the purity of the heavens and noble loyalty, while at the same time, the coolness of the afterlife blows from it; yellow, known as the manifestation of the sun and gold, still represents fallen leaves, and therefore death. The beginning and the end. Life and death. Earthly and heavenly. Human and divine. The blue-yellow image of the Mother of God with the baby combines the first with the second.
Graffiti is applied using a stencil, which is given the appearance of an icon. It is in front of the icons that we ask God for grace, healing and peace. And that is why there is a white dove in the second work - as a symbol of this peace in the hand of the Savior. We believe that the divine will ultimately save the earthly.

Hélène Litorelle is the Ukrainian artist, fabric and fashion designer, Jungian analyst. In 2008 she opened a new direction in art, called Esoteric Art and in 2010 as a young artist participated in an exhibition at the Kyiv Mironova Gallery. Hélène Litorelle's passion for ancient symbols led to the creation of her own niche brand of accessories and jewelry. In 2022 the personal exhibitions of Hélène Litorelle's works took place in Vienna: "Broken dreams. War diary from the Ukrainian shelter" and the presentation of the installation "The butterfly", dedicated to Ukrainian refugees from Russian military aggression. She also took part in the collective exhibition of Ukrainian artists in the Viennese cultural center Kulturgarage. All of the artist's latest works were created by combining her own drawings with newspaper clippings, and the news printed in the press found their embodiment in bright images. As also an employee of the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, Hélène Litorelle created a limited collection of silk scarves with prints from the Scythian golden pectoral - the most famous museum exhibit of the Treasury.
