I’m a fine artist based in Sydney, specialising in Islamic Kufic calligraphy. My work is rooted in tradition yet expressed through a contemporary lens, blending ancient script with modern minimalism and abstraction. I’m particularly drawn to Square Kufic for its balance of simplicity and complexity — the way its rigid geometry allows space for deep emotional expression. Every composition I create is intentional, designed to evoke stillness, reflection, and spiritual presence.
Through my art, I aim to preserve the timeless beauty of Islamic calligraphy while reimagining it for today’s world. Each piece becomes more than a visual — it’s a quiet moment of remembrance, a sacred echo formed through lines and texture. My goal is to connect viewers not just to the text itself, but to the feeling behind it — inviting them into a space of meaning, memory, and divine connection.
