Nr 1, in the Grasslands serie.
A serie created out of a longing for open landscapes where you as a viewer can find peace and move to another place for your well-being.
Looking out over vast landscapes gives you a sense of security and control. Looking out over the horizon and giving yourself time to decide where you want to go, which is your path?
Life is sometimes tricky and it can feel like you're stuck. An open landscape then seems to be able to invite new perspectives and give a feeling of calm.
The landscape is there as a safe eternal place to be a part of.
Feeling the silence, the wind, and feeling part of it all by surveying a part of it, creates harmony and peace in the soul.
My hope with these abstract motifs is that the viewer will be able to be transported to a place they recognize, or need to invite calm and reflection.
Gustaf Tidholm is een hedendaagse Zweedse schilder. Voor zijn artistieke werk haalt hij inspiratie uit alledaagse interacties en het creatieve proces zelf. Tidholm communiceert vreugde, hoop, geluk, vrede en geloof door zijn unieke abstracties.
Gustaf Tidholm werd in 1981 in Zweden geboren. Zijn schilderijen waren nationaal te zien in solo- en groepstentoonstellingen.
