Artmajeur presenteert een selectie van de beste Zweedse hedendaagse kunstenaars: Zweedse schilders, Zweedse beeldhouwers, Zweedse fotografen, je kunt zowel opkomende als bevestigde artiesten vinden op de galerij.
Hoewel schilders, beeldhouwers en fotografen van Zweden de meest populaire technieken zijn, hebben we ook geweldige hedendaagse werken te koop in andere technieken zoals collages, digitale kunst of textielkunst. Beeldhouwers Bengt Lindström en Carl Eldh zijn de meest iconische beeldhouwers van Zweden. Het langgerekte land (Det avlånga landet), zoals de onderdanen het graag noemen, wordt gekenmerkt door een sterke maritieme invloed. Dit leidde dan ook tot de opkomst van een heel specifiek segment van stijlschilderijen: zeeschilders. Op dit gebied waren Arvid Ahlberg, Jacob Hägg of August Hagborg zeker de meest getalenteerde transcribenten van de moeilijkheden van het leven op zee. Ook, en in tegenstelling tot veel andere Europese landen, hebben veel vrouwelijke kunstenaars zich door de eeuwen heen in de Scandinavische hoofdstad gevestigd. , waaronder de eminente Julia Beck, de portretschilder Eva Bonnier of Margareta Christina Giers.
