Gunchenko
Svitlana Koval (Gunchenko) Dawn. The first sun rays in the east break through the pink clouds. It is quiet. A nightingale tweeted somewhere in the cherry orchard. It was answered by a second one. The people are still sleeping. I take my sketchbook on my shoulder and go to the fairy tale. The cold dew along the path sparkles like gems. A bee buzzes somewhere in the flower. There is a cool breeze from the valley. White fog is still sleeping there. Willows are looking into the clear water. White water lilies listen to the melody of peace... In my studio in Kyiv, I look for atmospheric effects of light between the noise of the city and the peace of the forest. I have long been inspired by the diverse, fleeting states of nature, and I seek to explore the relationship between static artificial forms and the unpredictability of natural phenomena and states. My passion for landscape painting allows me to improve the transmission of rapidly changing light, I am fascinated by such nuances as the first rays of the morning sun, the last reflection of the setting sun, a thick layer of white-pink fog that slowly melts. Nature, which is so close to a big city, beckons again and again with its shimmering beauty, mighty trees enjoying the rays of the sun, creating a huge number of light effects and reflections in the blue depth of a forest lake.. This urgency of working in plein air shapes my painting style as immediacy and directness. This incredible beauty of nature fills with new forces to live and create in a big city.Inspirational creative work and positive energy are equally present and expressed in my paintings, which can perfectly decorate the interior of your home and illuminate your everyday life. My paintings are in many countries, including Poland, England, USA, Thailand and Germany.
