Dessiner et peindre sont, depuis ma plus tendre enfance, un de mes passe- temps favori.
En 2001 j ai eu la chance de rencontrer un professeur de peinture à l’huile adepte de la technique du 18ème siècle des grands maîtres des écoles hollandaises. Ces techniques sont longues et fastidieuses. Les toiles doivent être préparées de façon spécifique et l’avancement de l’œuvre est assez long. Mes réalisations sont surtout des natures mortes.
J ai également appris la technique du pastel sec ce que je travaille actuellement en Martinique. La simplicité n’y est qu’apparente. J’aime faire du portrait. Travailler l’expression, le regard.
Peindre des drapés me passionne et c est une technique que je cherche à approfondir autant à l’huile qu’au pastel en raison de la difficulté et de la beauté du rendu final.
