"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Studies at the Beaux-Arts then illustrator in Paris (Press edition). Inspired by the Dadaist and Surrealist spirit, Gilles-Marie Baur produced a series of poetic boxes in Paris and approached magazines. Immediately noticed for his originality, many media placed orders with him for boxes to illustrate articles (Marie-Claire, Lui, L'express, Play Boy, L'Evénement, Télérama...). An exhibition on avenue Matignon of his boxes was very noticed.
He later moved on to drawing and enjoyed great success as a press illustrator. During an exhibition of his drawings in New York, he visited the MOMA and discovered the works of Joseph Cornell and was captivated by the plastic beauty of his compositions.
In 2015, he found the desire to make new ARTBOX.
These are small universes on display, bringing together objects charged with nostalgia so that their encounter generates emotion, mystery or humor.
Painting with things and images, colors and words, creating three-dimensional poetic spaces for the pleasure of the eyes, here is his creation, full of surprise and delight.
Gilles-Marie Baur, artist, novelist, poet, illustrator, musician, is a creator who excels in these different techniques. "I am not a telegraph pole, but a tree with multiple branches and roots" he likes to say. For his first work, he won the prize of the prestigious Académie Alphonse Allais. Here are presented his ARTBOX, another string to his creative rainbow.
He lives in the Gers and exhibits in his studio
