Quoique petite dernière d’une famille de quatre enfants, mon enfance fût plutôt solitaire et très tôt se développa en moi le besoin de m’exprimer au travers du dessin et de la sculpture. Mes parents m’accompagnèrent constamment dans cette recherche d’expression.
Autodidacte, je suis abstraite de toute école et le seul professeur que je reconnaisse est Monsieur Fortin, professeur de dessin en 1967-1968 au lycée de Rambouillet, c’est avec lui que je pris mon envol, j’avais 16ans et préparais le concours d’entrée à l’Ecole nationale supérieure des arts appliqués Duperré (frondeuse, je n’y suis restée qu’un an).
En 1971 et 1972, je voyageais en Egypte et au Vietnam : je prenais contact avec une réalité qui me bouleversa : l’injustice de la misère.

1969 – 70 : Technicienne en tapisserie basse-lisse
1970 – 82 : Symbolisme & surréalisme - Dessins – gouaches – encres
1982 – 89 : Expression non figurative & abstraite – Réalisations de compositions alliant divers matériaux de récupération, technique mixte, travail du bois
1989 – 91 : Etude & recherche sur la transparence – Manipulations de matières, utilisation de glacis, de l’aquarelle, pastels et encres
A partir de 1991 : Une thématique – l’être et son essence – au travers d’une recherche réaliste expressionniste :
