Giorgio Marogna

Born in Verona on August 11, 1966.

He followed painting courses under Prof. Gianni Lollis for ten years at the Centre for Artistic Education (C.E.A.) in Verona.

After years of occasional painting due to a not yet fully reached awareness of his own creative resources as well as of what his main job had to be, because of a shocking event in his life, Giorgio started a full time painting activity. He has meant his paintings as the sublimation of his moods and of his vision of the most pressing issues of current events. The moving from one genre of painting to another is dictated solely by his eclectic spirit that drives him to use a surrealism rather than an abstractionism or an impressionism, depending on the message he wants to convey.

Giorgio’s paintings have been on show in France (Saint Mihiel tourism agency), in Italy (collective exhibition at the Gallery Accorsiarte in Venice concomitant with the Biennale di Architettura 2018), and in Verona (personal exhibition at Circolo Ufficiali in Castelvecchio 2018). Presently, Giorgio’s paintings are on show at the Contemporary Italian Art Gallery in Boston (U.S.A.) and in Rome.
