As far back as I can remember I have been looking for the right medium for a creative process….

When my father asked me what I wanted to do with my life, I answered writer. A prerequisite is to have something to say, he retorted!

Many years after having accumulated the raw material source of inspiration, I realized that the right medium was no longer words but colors!

For me, painting is a way to distract the eye with no other goal than to let the mind wander in a story, a setting.

My compositions are a suggested narration. My realistic style with a limited choice of colors is at the service of the subject. I let the mixture of pigments on a wet support naturally create nuances of light, lighten the detail of the compositions.
