Born in 1963, Gilles Staub, known under the pseudonym LeCrayonAgile, is a self-taught designer and artist living and working in France. Although he pursued a career as a plumber, his true passion lies in drawing with pencil on paper, which he has practiced since childhood.

Gilles developed his artistic skills by spending hours with his father, who introduced him to this art. His figurative style focuses primarily on portraits, often made from photographs and executed primarily in black and white. Each drawing demonstrates a meticulousness and attention to detail that captures the very essence of its subjects.

Modest about his talent, Gilles considers himself above all as someone who pursues his hobby with pleasure and dedication. As his retirement approaches, he is delighted to be able to devote even more time to his passion for drawing.

Gilles, or LeCrayonAgile, is also available to create drawings on request, whether for special events such as birthdays or festive occasions, thus generously offering his artistic talents in the service of others.

His work, imbued with simplicity and authenticity, demonstrates his deep connection with his art and his desire to share his talent with those who appreciate the beauty of pencil drawing.
