Gil Angelo Gazzoli is a contemporary French artist. His artistic education began in a graphic arts school in Paris, followed by time spent in the Alpes de Haute Provence. His early work consisted of sculptures, assemblages, and abstract creations. Gazzoli collaborated in stage design with a contemporary dance troupe at the same time. His creative universe, shaped by the surrealism of H. Bellmer, P. Molinier, and M. Ernst became more defined during this time of artistic experiences. The universe he describes comes to life thanks to G. Bataille, A. Artaud, and Sade.
