Gérard Vouillon, photographer, explores through his works an atmosphere tinged with nostalgia, timelessness and loss of bearings, giving free rein to the imagination. Heir to the classical tradition, Gérard always seeks this light which gives his subjects an unreal, fantastic, sometimes distressing aura, always evocative of a recent past. He also places great importance on material, capturing the nuances of color resulting from the encounter between natural light and the elements that surround it.
Through his lens, Gérard invites the viewer to see beyond what is visible, to rediscover and appreciate the world around us, to construct a universe made of captivating situations, landscapes and materials. Each image is a visual feast that he wishes to share with his audience, inviting everyone to escape into his photographic universe.
