Painter of old seascapes.
I focus mainly on marine painting. I really like the sea. It can be beautiful, calm, stormy, giving it countless colors. This is what I try to bring out in my paintings.
I draw a lot of inspiration from the works of the great masters of Marine painting from the 16th to the 19th century such as Vernet - Gudin - Garneray- Hue - Van de Velde - Aïvazovski - etc.
I exhibit mainly in the North of France. During these exhibitions, I got several awards. A painting was exhibited at the Musée de la Marine in PARIS in 2011.
On the other hand, the art of copying has always existed "from the beginning of art , it's a normal attitude. According to several great masters of painting, . “Many painters began by exercising their art by copying the great masters. And this is how the art of copying should be learned. : You must first study the work, its composition, the elements that make it up, the techniques used... Then comes the drawing phase, finding the main strong lines. For the transition to color.
Isn't the art of copying the greats the best way to learn?
