Georges Dumas is a French visual artist born in 1975. He creates works he calls "paintographies," i.e., mixed-media works on canvas that combine photography, digital composition, and acrylic painting. The human figure is the primary subject of these works, with a significant focus on the nude and drapery, in keeping with the statuary of Antiquity and the Renaissance.
