Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. It could also refer to a prototype or a model from which other works can be made. Each work bears great similarities to the original.

Nació en Mendoza, en 1976. Su pasión por la pintura la descubrió a los 10 años y fue a esa edad que decidió estudiar arte. Sus primeros acercamientos a la plástica fueron en la Escuela Provincial de Bellas Artes, y posteriormente en la Facultad de Artes de la UNCuyo. Paralelamente, estudió la carrera de Comunicación Social y, actualmente, se desempeña como periodista de espectáculos de Diario UNO de Mendoza.
En cuanto a la plástica, ha sido alumnas de grandes maestros como Alfredo Ceverino, Carlos Ojam, Fausto Caner, José Scacco y Roberto Barroso. Ha ejercido la docencia durante tres años, pero desde hace algún tiempo está abocada a trabajar en su atelier.
Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones colectivas e individuales tanto en su provincia natal como en el país. Algunas de sus obras pertenecen a colecciones privadas tanto de Argentina como en Chile.

Acerca de las obras
En sus pinturas conjuga dos movimientos artísticos que la apasionan desde muy pequeña: lo surrealista y lo abstracto. La idea es enfatizar los aspectos cromáticos, formales y estructurales, acentuándolos, resaltando su valor y fuerza expresiva. Además, realiza una investigación sobre la textura, la forma y el color.
La temática que aborda en la mayoría de sus pinturas está relacionada con la naturaleza y especialmente con la flora mendocina.
En las últimas producciones ha incorporado a sus obras una técnica con silicona líquida y pigmentos en polvo. El primer resultado de esto fue una serie llamada “Pequeñas manos”, que remite a los dibujos que realizan los niños. Aquellos que para los adultos no son más que simples “garabatos” y para los pequeños “grandes obras de arte”. Esta serie fue presentada, en diciembre de 2007, en la Enoteca de las Artes del Centro de Congresos y Exposiciones de Mendoza.
Actualmente está realizando un estudio sobre la luz y para ello ha creado dibujos con colores plenos rescatando el brillo sobre el cuerpo humano y los objetos. La temática de estos dibujos que se presentan, en la sala de Canal 7 Mendoza, son los músicos y la serie se denomina “De chiquilín te miraba de afuera”.
