Biografie
Gelu Stanculescu ist ein professioneller Fotograf, der gerne mit Konzepten und Formen experimentiert und das Erhabene und das Groteske durch ein Innen-Außen-Perspektivspiel ausbalanciert, bei dem sich Licht in Farben verwandelt, Farben in Dunkelheit spritzen und Dunkelheit sich in Enthüllung verwandelt.
Derzeit arbeitet er mit einer Gruppe talentierter Models zusammen. Seine Arbeit umfasst Bilder, die von einer zerbrochenen Ballerina-Statue bis zu einer alptraumhaften Verrenkung reichen, sowie zahlreiche originelle Interpretationen von Fabelwesen, die alle in lebhafte Spritzer, staubige Wolken oder gespenstische Dämpfe getaucht sind, exquisite Körperprojektionen und Neonformen, wunderschöne künstlerische Akte, wunderbar Luftkunst und gewagte und aufregende Bondage-Interpretationen.
Gelu Stanculescu lebt und arbeitet in Cluj-Napoca (Rumänien). Seine Arbeiten befinden sich in einer Vielzahl von Privatsammlungen.

We invite you to the Photo-Synthesis exhibition that will take place in Baile Herculane between 28-30 July in the Central Park. The exhibition is organized by Delia Association with the support of the Cluj Napoca Local Council and the Cluj-Napoca Health Care Department together with artonthewall.ro The exhibition takes place under the patronage of the Association of Photographic Artists from Romania and brings together the works of the photographer Gelu Stanculescu who together with the model Maria Scirlet creates special works, an apparent union of painting and photography. The exhibition is practically an explosion of colours expressing feelings, thoughts and moods. The exhibition also has a humanitarian character, the works exhibited can be ordered through a qr code attached from the website artonthewall.ro and the profit will be donated to the Delia Association for programs for people with epilepsy.The exhibition "Photo-Synthesis" is a deeply emotional and captivating photographic art experience. It invites you to explore the emotional state of the model through the colours and textures that cover her body. Each work is a joint work of photographer and model, and expresses the model's inner thoughts, hopes and feelings, is an exploration of her emotional and inner state, and is presented in a unique and exciting way.In particular, the olours and textures chosen add an extra dimension to the expression of feelings and emotions and transform the works into meaningful experiences for the viewer.The works draw viewers into a mysterious and enigmatic world, conveying a powerful message about human suffering and our inner qualities. The colours chosen are meant to create an intense and sad atmosphere, evoking emotions such as anger, fear and anxiety. These photographic works make you feel like you are trapped in their world and looking into the souls of people trying to hide their true face. Each photograph is a visual delight, managing to capture the inner human feelings in a sophisticated and expressive way (review by Lavinia Pop).

National Tour of Photo Synthesis and The Monocolour Pigment Exhibitions
After last year's exhibitions, this year we started a real tour around Romania. I've attached a map to show you where I've been. Our studio and our team is based in Cluj Napoca and after the success of last year's exhibitions we wanted to reach the farthest corners of our country. We have marked on the map the places where we had the exhibitions. We have 2 exhibitions - Photo Synthesis and Monocolour Pigment, that's why in some places we have 2 exhibitions on different dates. What I have set myself as a photographer is to gather a team of not only models but more than that, partners. Maria Scirlet, the original model became a second organizer of this tour. On our travels we do photo shoots with models from far away parts of Romania, we inspire each other and evolve both as people and artists.Our exhibition is sponsored by the Romanian Photographic Artists Association, which is a huge honour.What is special is that we exhibited in 2 salt mines and our works so colourful in combination with the surrounding salt gave a stunning contrast.
